Welcome to Space Calls Academy

Here at Space Calls Academy, the admissions process is extremely selective. Only about 15% of all applicants get a spot in our school. Therefore, we can ensure that the learning environment will be the best possible for your student. Students who wish to apply must first submit their application packet along with an essay. The essay topic for those interested is Space is calling me, how will I answer? In this brief writing sample, we look for students to explain their interests in space, and tell us why they believe they are deserving of their role. We also look to see how students feel they can enhance the learning environment for the students around them, and the steps they will take to improve their leadership roles away from their support system back in earth. At any point in time can students come to visit one of Space Calls Academy's regional recruiting sites, located in almost all international airports around the country, to have an interview with an admissions officer. If truly interested, we offer weekly tours of the campus with prior notice from the students current school. Admission decisions will be made by April 14, and all excepted students are welcome to make another visit to help confirm their enrollment by May 31.

Campus

Here at Space Calls Academy, our state of the art campus is a system of floating space domes all connected by passageways. Each classroom is its own individual glass dome. We are located in the scenic milky way galaxy, in orbit of the planet Earth. The campus also has a fantastic Cafeteria. A recent senior-parent gift, from the generous class of 2060, gave us new ports and loading bays for types of spacecraft configurations. Our handicap friendly environment allows student of all types to explore the outside world of space. At Space Calls Academy, your education will take place in the most modern space station in the universe.

Curriculum

Here at the Space Calls Academy, we aim to take our students to new heights (literally and figuratively). Since the founding of our school in 2050 for students entering grades 10 through 12, we have currently put over a thousand students into the colleges of their dreams or on any of our marvelous solar planets. Our unique learning environment in space puts our students in a well rounded community that covers all aspects of earth in just one school. Due to our location, our main focus for students is to advance their scientific and technologic careers, but we also provide a superb geography program due to our unique perspective of earth.

Class Schedule

Here at the Space Calls Academy we strive to balance work with fun, and offer multiple class in the core subjects of science, engineering, technology, and geography. Classes regarding these core subjects include plasma physics, black hole cartography, bridge/ building design, computer science, programming, volcano studies, and ocean currents. We believe here that anything is possible and will foster your students desires with our excellent staff on board. Moreover, our well rounded community also offers sports, but not the conventional earth sports that you are accustomed with on earth. Our zero gravity versions of sports always keeps our students on the edge and allows them the think outside of the box.
